Go & get it for your home from Zara Home Muscat!

I shop mostly from Zara Home, I like the reasonable prices, different options & subtly chic merchandise offered by Zara Home.

I made this post to showcase some of the things you can purchase from their store in Muscat City Center, I also mentioned the price to make things easy according to your budget & taste.

Pieces for under 50 OMR:

I fell in love with these tables, could be used as side tables or can also be used as accent decor for your living room, dinning room or your bedroom. Simple yet elegant, the price tag for these tables depends on the size as follows:

33.50 x 30 x 38 cm 49.90 OMR
30 x 30 x 36.50 cm for 37.90 OMR

Orinoco Magazine Holder (Those are super difficult to find in Muscat - well except for the ugly looking with the disturbing details) its only for 32.90 OMR

A 70 x 200 cm, corridor rug for only 27.90 OMR

I'd love to get both, every girl should have at least two of these Hot Water Bottles!

Jersey Hot Water Bottle for 12.90 OMR

A second option I liked is this:

Sarah Hot Water Bottle for 12.90 OMR

Plummy Pillow Cover (Must HAVE!!!) only for 12.90 OMR - Love love love!

For under 10 OMR:

Gilby Vase for 9.90 OMR

Edison Jar for 6.90 OMR - 8.90 OMR

The below items I had to separate as they make excellent containers for Incense (Bukhoor) storage containers, but elegant ones not the ugly Tang jars.. Go & check them out, they make perfect gifts for brides & ladies who love their Bukhoor!

Weather Update: Rainy Weather for Muscat 25-26 October 2012

Looks like Muscat will get a little bit wet over the weekend!

Based on the below weather update, there seems to be a low pressure developing over the Northern Indian Ocean which if it keeps it current track might actually starts to show its signs of arrival over the weekend.

Happy Eid to all. :)

Happy New Year 2012! (Belated)

Its never too late to wish you all a happy new year! I missed welcoming the new year for almost 1.5months! How did you spend new years eve? I spent a quite night at home, getting ready for work. Hopefully next year falls in a weekend so I can celebrate!

Now, I know I have been away from the blogging scene for quite sometime! Believe me when I say I had lots between my hands which kept me busy but it doesn't mean I totally forgot about this blog. I have so many things to blog about, life in Muscat has never been any good'er?!

Well, indeed it hasn't been any gooder.

I will share some food, fashion & design ideas from Muscat shortly. I just need to get somethings into order in my life currently.

Stay tuned till my next entry.

Thank you Latifa Al Shamsi

A fellow blogger from UAE, has recently shed some light through her lovely blog on a unique UAE product that might attract fashion lovers like myself!

The product is a well stitched hand bag organizer, note that its mainly suitable for medium to big sized hand bags. I purchased the product from blingblingsabaya.com a Dubai based online shopping website selling exclusive second hand designer hand bags and UAE's very own DROP IT hand bags organizers.

I love my organizer so much I decided to post an entry about it, one more thing worth mentioning since I ordered my organizer online I've done so during the weekend. To be more specific on a Friday and it took the order 2 days to arrive so if you will request for the one day option make sure to place the order on a week day.

Happy Shopping to all ;)

Possibility of Rain in Oman 30.10.2011

As many people having being praying for rain in Muscat, Oman for months and months we didn't see much of it since the start of 2011.

We had a massive dust cloud few weeks ago and that was all.

Well, that's not the case for the time being or at least its seems to be not for the time being.

Following the local news two days ago, I came to find out about this wonderful low pressure floating in the mid of the Arabian Sea which I pray so hard will bring us a lot of good rain. I emphasize on the good part. :)

Even though the synopsis charts clearly show its drifting away very slowly from the Omani shore, which am starting to get a little depressed about every 2-3 hours. Due to one big fact, its a slow moving low pressure system, if it keeps the same speed it will slowly shift its course towards Pakistan or Iran once it has gone past Ras Al Haad.

So far the lucky areas which will witness the rain over the next 6 hours or so are as follows:

1. Sur
2. Qurriat
3. Muscat (Possibly)

I highly doubt Dhofar will have much of this low pressure rain over the next few days as its obviously moving towards the Northern parts of the Omani coast.

Local Store: Be Beautiful Boutique

In comparison to Boutique Muscat which a ridiculously over priced Muscat based boutique I think that Be Beautiful Boutique will be able to survive the difficult clothing industry in Muscat! Heck, they might even be the best in town.

With their simple, elegant designs which mainly consist of tops, blazers and a few dresses I think they might become extremely popular in a short period of time!

I will leave you with some pieces from their collection as shown on their Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Be-Beautiful-Boutique/183483231730970
