I decided to bake my chicken piece in the oven using Nandos HOT PERI PERI sauce, I added a few things because I was worried it won't taste as good as the chicken I normally order at the restaurant.
What you will need:
1 bottle of Nandos Hot Peri Peri Marinade (I bought mine from Al Fair)
1 Whole chicken or Al Fair's ready cut chicken pieces (Makes your a woman's life much much easier!)
Medium sized glass oven dish
Non-stick cooking pot
What I added:
1 small cup of white vinegar
1 tea spoon black pepper (you can determine how much you like based on your taste)
3 tea spoons salt (same story as the pepper)
Directions:
1. Wash the chicken, trim any access skin & open your Nandos Hot Peri Peri Marinade.
2. Pour the marinade all over your chicken and add the vinegar, salt & peppers. This is how your chicken will look like:
3. Let the chicken soak in all the good marinade for an hour, you can stick your chicken in the fridge during that one hour if your kitchen is not too warm.
4. Cook the chicken in a medium sized pot for about 3-4 minutes till the chicken turns white. (This step is a must, don't skip or the chicken will dry once baked in the oven!) As seen in the below image:
5. Put your cooked chicken in the oven dish.
6. Stick the chicken in the oven with the lower flame on, set your temperature at 180 C.
7. Keep checking your chicken every 10-15 minutes and keep on turning the chicken every time you open to check so you don't end up eating a half raw half burned chicken, it should cook for 45 minutes. ;)
Bon appétit! x
Notes:
1. You can add mini potatoes and a whole pealed onion for an extra flavor. ;)
